I have purchased a few parts from Larry and I have talked to him a few times on the phone and thru email. He is EXTREMELY knowledgable, helpful, and all around a great guy. I enjoyed hearing his "war" stories about what happened in different racing series and all sorts of other cool stuff. When I had a problem with the J&S he helped me work thru and discover the problems. Much better customer service than JR, they always give me some BS where Larry will give advice even if he has no sale. Larry wants to change the import scene to cut out all the lies, other companies seem to like to perpetuate them, like spreading false or misleading dyno plots. I will definitely get my blower done by larry and buy any part that he sells because i know it will work, and will work right from the beginning. Hell I have replaced 2 JR fuel pumps, now my FPR is going. Am i gonna get another from them, HELL NO, time for a cartech. The only product that I think actually works has been the BTC from them, but only time will really tell on that.
Its scary how many people waste their time here that are truly uneducated. Stop spreading the BS.

I know ENDYN's claims may seem outrageous but I have seen enough proof that ENDYN isn't full of it. A professor at my old engineering college (who practically invented TRICK fuel) was developing a way if injecting fuel in a super fine mist and was running motors at over 20-1 CR so seemingly outrageous claims can hold some truth.
It seems like the ENDYN JRSC mod helps out the efficiency of the SC greatly but not as much as their own SC. I am in the pre-buying stage of a JRSC. I have considered waiting to find a good used one and sending it to ENDYN but for about the same $ (theoretically) I could get a 100% ENDYN charger when they come out.
My question is WHEN IS IT COMING OUT? There haven't been any updates regarding the SC in quite a while (with the exception of the minor update on the FAQ's). I would love to see some status updates!

The simple answer is, of course, when it's ready. I know...That's not a very useful thing to say but I think that it is the best answer you're going to get. The Endyn blower is a very ambitious project. Setting aside some of the debated facts Larry is going for a CARB legal intercooled blower with full traction controll and other goodies above and WAY beyond what JR is selling. That takes a lot of time to run the bugs out before going into production and selling to the general public. When it comes to something for my car it makes me happy to see a company have a zero-bug-tollerance.And you have to remember he's not just developing this thing for one modle of motor which addins more time to the development cycle, especially if he's trying to make as many of the parts as interchangable as possible.
Think about how long it's taking JR to bring a Prelude blower to market and that's simpler system than what Endyn is working on.
I've chatted with Larry once or twice in Email and he sounded credible to me. I've seen nothing to make me doubt his ability to deliver the good when the goods are ready to be delivered.

...no, I was not aluding to Keith being a monkey. My point was that a "few insights" are not quite two decades or so of experience in many venues of racing technology(my example vs yours). Young man... which you must be to have such a short temper... let other's feelings and rants slide off of your back, rather than let your blood pressure rise so.

I told myself not to get into this debate, but I can't help myself.
I HAVE had the ENDYN mods done. And as someone said I spent $1500 and do not regret it one bit. I am completely satisfied. So much that I sent an engine to be built for another ~$3000. Plus lots of other stuff over the years. I knop that alot of folks don't care too much about G-tech numbers, but I just do not have the time to get to the One shop that has one here. My 1/4 mile time suck, so I won't even go there. Let's just say I have a hard time keeping tire spin under control. However, doing Hp runs with the G-tech is much easier because you don't have to worry about hammering it out of the hole and shifting. I have logged 173 whp, repeatedly. I'd say that wasn't bad, considering someone with a blown ITR, on another topic on this board, was getting the same HP. And I feel like I haven't tuned it to perfection yet. Everybody feel free to make your own conclusions about that...
As far as the ENDYN kits go, there's alot more to it than just build and ship it. I talk to Larry pretty often, whether I'm buying something, asking a question, or just shooting the shit. So I have word from his own mouth. Not only are there the things mentioned above, but there is also the fact that a dedicated facility was set-up exclusively to build the kits. There are also suppliers where smaller items are sourced from, and if they can't follow thru, that sets other things behind. Plus, the fact that personnel had to be hired to run the plant, not to mention R&D for each application, CARB approval and so forth. And let's not forget about the time spent "shooting the shit" with all of his regulars, answering questions on his BBS, worrying about the smaller components he has for sale. All this, and they still have to do the stuff that pays their bill, like engines for Jeff Gordon, and all the others, who have deadlines. I won't even go into the other stuff they do that's not even in the automotive industry...needless to say there's alot to do.
I'm off the pedistal.

People can't talk shit about making those numbers on a stock motor. The stock honda block is excellent.. it's all about tuning. Larry has tuned more cars then everyone here added up. Cylinder pressure is MUCH less likely to kill your motor then detonation is. Get a lambda meter and tune damnit!

i said the 400hp on a stock motor claim is false. he has nothing to back that up. is that not true? FYI, i got 10psi of boost with lsd, and i still have problem keeping my wheel from spinning during 1st 2nd, and sometimes 3rd. and wow, i spent a whooping $80 for a pulley...hee hee, sure beats $1500 to get it modded.
while some poeple have lots of problem with JRSC, i had great results with it, with stock 6psi of boost, i am made 225hp@the wheel. which is damn good for 6psi. i only ran it for about 2 weeks, before switching to 10psi pulley. with 10psi, i made about 260@the wheel
the point that i am trying to make is, if they give you a 3inch pulley with the mod, ofcourse its gonna feel god damn faster. if what he says is entirely true, u dont even need to get a smaller blower pulley since he "tuned the sc so well". i wanna see what numbers you guys are getting with the endyn mod SC.
you should be getting way more than 260hp, why? because with the 3inch pulley, ur getting more boost AND he modded SC. so you should make 300hp no problem. now if u are making lets say 270-280hp. then would u not have wasted your money? i spent $100 to get to 260, and u gotta spend $1500 to get 270-280. if u can get more than 300hp, then congrat, his shit works, but if not..... maybe its not as good as they say.
btw i didnt say larry makes bad things, where did u get that from. i said that his 400hp 24psi teg unreal. and yes, it is unreal. the name larry and endyn got you all dreaming. because you want yo believe that u can spend $3500 and get around 400hp teg. its not gonna happen. he may know his shit, but hes just shitting about the 400hp teg SC that they will sell you.
btw i didnt speak or buy anything from larry because i had no problem with my car. for that matter even if i had problem, i'd gone to back to jr.
i'll stop commenting on this tread. since you all are endyn believers. well, heck... you all can believe what u wanna believe. but some of use just dont wanna believe until there is proof.

Sirg, 260? w/ a stock GSR JRSC and 10psi pulley? Did you dyno it? G-tech? 1/4?
Since your not an Endyn fan, I am sure you can supply some "proof" of your achievements.
